CLINICAL OPERATIONS SCIENTIST

Role Description Summary
Responsible for Bioequivalence/Clinical studies. The Clinical Operations Scientist is expected to coordinate all sites and vendor (e.g. Clinical Research Organization) related issues with supervision from the R&D Director.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinates Bioequivalence/Clinical studies
- Coordinates clinical study operational plan and CRO activities including project timelines & quality of deliverables
- Maintains frequent and meaningful contact with CROs to assess performance and provide guidance as needed
- Reviews clinical operational plans including the study monitoring plan and other plans as needed
- Contributes to relevant study documentation including clinical protocols, statistical analysis plan, clinical study reports, monitoring reports, scientific literature
- Participates in study data review and other review activities as assigned
- Contributes to the submission of trial-related and essential documents to the Trial Master File
- Collaborates with R&D team during compilation of clinical trial application documents (CTA) and/or any related study activities
- Work closely with other teams in the organization, e.g. quality, regulatory, CMC etc. during regulatory submissions
Job Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or master’s degree in life science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical research experience
- Thorough understanding of FDA, ICH and GCP guidelines
- Team oriented with excellent cross-functional collaboration and participation skills

Role Description Summary
The Principal Formulation Development Scientist participates in the design and execution of all developmental, scale-up & tech. transfer activities including planning of trials & GMP productions.
Key responsibilities
- Designs and conducts pre-formulation, formulation development, process development, process optimization, scale-up and clinical manufacturing on assigned projects with the scope to achieve a patent-non infringing, robust and commercially viable formulation
- Designs and implements strategies for formulation development and contributes to solving complex problems
- Supports projects from development to commercial scale up and also the technical transfer to the in-house or contract commercial manufacturing site
- Designs and conducts pre-formulation and formulation trials
- Participates in the manufacture of validation batches
- Participates in discussions for the developmental progress and the relative results in case of contract development activities
- Contributes to the assessment of the API DMF for information related to the formulation activities
- Contributes to the data collection, evaluation & dossier Compilation of formulation related parts
- Contributes to the responses to deficiency letters received by authorities or clients relative to the formulation activities
- Writes or contributes to the writing of Development Pharmaceutics Reports, Master Formulas, Batch Records, Manufacturing and Packaging Instructions, Stability protocols, and any other necessary reports/documents associated with the formulation activities
- Contributes to the design of stability studies and specifications for new products and liaises with analytical development team to evaluate trends and improvements
- Writes or contributes to the writing of formulation SOPs, change controls and deviations
- Supervises the lab and pilot scale plant infrastructure and participates in the communications with suppliers for technical evaluation and comparison of required equipment
- Contributes to R&D related audits and relative actions arising
- Contributes to the training of new formulation members
Job Qualifications & Requirements

- 4 years’ experience in a similar work environment

Reporting directly to an Executive Member of the Board of Directors, the selected candidate should contribute to the overall success and international growth of the specific division as a member of the Rontis BD team. The candidate is expected to explore internationally & identify opportunities, build appropriate interaction, perform negotiations & develop the tactics to bring the targeted opportunities to fruition. He / she should drive sales generation and perform account management in a global environment in an effective manner.
Role and Responsibilities
- Execute business development initiatives that are consistent with the division’s overall strategy
- Pursue revenue generation initiatives and ensure strategic partnerships development and management
- Oversee multiple business initiatives simultaneously
- Promote and sell the products and services of the company in worldwide scale
- Research, identify, pursue and acquire new customers in different regions of the world
- Perform account management of existing and future strategic customers making sure that the strategic goals of the organization are met
- Handle contract negotiations and work closely with supervisor and with legal counsel as required
- Attend international exhibitions where the company and division selects to promote its product portfolio and seeks new clientele
- Develop custom-made and region-specific pricing strategies in close liaison with his / her Supervisor
- Implement Division Marketing initiatives (New Product Introduction, Workshops etc.)
- Build and maintain effective professional relationships at senior levels (i.e. International distribution partners, KOLs, HCPs, Hospital Management, Clinic Directors etc.) with focus in the fields of pediatrics, dermatology & gastroenterology
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Health Sciences, Business, Management or relevant degrees are considered a prerequisite.
- A Master’s Degree, an MBA or a Joint Degree will be considered a major plus
- Prior professional experience (5+ years) is a prerequisite – ideally in the Infant Nutrition, Pharmaceuticals or FMCG sector
- Fluency in English (both written and oral skills) and computer literacy are considered prerequisites
- High level of organization and motivation
- Strong communication skills. Ability to interact in cross-cultural environment
- Self-disciplined and with attention to detail. Hands-on approach and problem-solving attitude
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
- Military service completed
